Ring Methods
Nanos | Mini Tips | Tiny Tips | Ultra Tips
The ring methods have taken over the industry, mainly because there is so many brands and names for them, but really, they work in the same way just different sized rings and tips. They are very popular for clients who love the versatility of individual extensions and the biggest draw is that NO heat or glue is used in the application.
They are applied by threading the chosen ring into the hair and pushed towards the scalp at a heathy distance, the strand is then placed inside the ring and clamped using special pliers.
BENEFITS
-
Very discreet and versatile for clients who like hair up a lot.
-
Kind to client's natural hair. No heat is used in this process.
-
Can be bought in all hair lengths, colours and types so not restricted to certain brands. Lots of variety in methods that can lie flat to scalp or use tiny rings.

Hair is reusable in maintenance appointments. A new ring is used each time.

If a strand is lost between refits, they can be kept and reapplied so cost affective.
DISADVANTAGES
-
Can sometimes lose strands between maintenance appointments. (however, can go back in if they are kept by the client).
-
You cannot change the bond colour if you decide to change hair colour. (although, we don't advise colouring hair extensions as it will lower life span).

The strand size cannot be changed for clients with finer hair etc which can be done in other methods.
-
Metal allergy sufferers can't use this method.
